LA...

LA trip was awesome. Great beaches, better crowd than SF/Bayarea and great sunny weather. Seems the phrase "sun and sand" came from there only. Went to Universal, Kodak, Hollywood mountain...

The best thing is the first pic I took. Check it out. This was taken at the same pier where Tom Hanks ends his marathon in Forrest Gump. Awesome experience though I don't eat shrimps...


Next day it was all hollywood. Went to Kodak theatre where the oscars are held and also went to "Walk of Fame". I even took a pic with Darth Vader. Also went to the mountain where the Hollywood sign is there. But they don't actually allow anyone to go to that mountain. So people go to the nearby hill and since all of them are connected we still call it Mount Hollywood...

Went to Venice and Malibu beaches next day. Great beaches and amazing weather. And loads of weird people at the Flea Market.....

Went to SF last weekend..nice place...check out the Golden Gate bridge pic...its huge..Also check out my office building...pretty neat...took it while driving..

My hotel is awesome. Right next to a small lake where a lot of canadian geese swim. They are a big pain. The keep on dirtying the aread with "you know what" and they come right outside your door and starting making noise.

Oh haan, my football team in India is the runner up in the first tournament of the season. We lost to HSBC. 1-0. Bad. But i'll be there for the next tournament starting in sept.

Going to LA this weekend and then to Seattle the week after. It'll be fun I suppose...

My sis gave birth to a baby girl yesterday afternoon....
abhi officially mamu ban gaya hoon...
They're having so much fun at home and me just sitting here and working :(

Jiju and I have decided that we'll give the baby a non-indian name...something like Catherine, Jennifer or Nicole...

I'll upload the pics of the kid once I get it...abhi am too happy to say anything....

Finally am here in SFO...awesome place...especially roads and weather....always sunny and cool...

Reached here on thursday evening...yeah the same the when there was a major scare at the UK airport...my flight was delayed in hong kong and the ppl there almost strip searched everyone...took all the lotions out and placed them in a separate plastic bag...i had like 7 items...

flight was ok ok...totally cramped for a 18 hr flight from s'pore to sfo....I drank some 6 glasses of wine and then watched a movie...guess which one..."Rang De Basanti"...and after watching it I got so emotional that I drank 3 more glasses until the pilot said "Please tie you seat belts..we are reaching s'pore" and they stopped serving alcohol....

AT came to pick me up at the airport...and then he took me to dennys at 1 AM. Next night it was barbeque and wine party. drank a lot agian and then 5-6 of us watched "Dil Chahta Hai". Great fun man...

Went for bowling and poker the next day...and I won 17 $...not bad for a guy who was playing for the first time...and then rented a car on monday...its a nice car ....my manager will get a shock when we sees the bill :)

The place is good but then its very lonely...I mean I have friends but then sometime do get lonely...the problem is I can't make a phonecall and talk to anyone I want....its fucking expensive to make a call to India...some 7 $ per min from my hotel....so only thing I can do is to get connected to net and send emails...totally sucks...

abhi 4 din hi hue hain and yeah haal hai...3o days more to go :)....just 30....

time for some work now....came very late to office today....

Time to kick some balls...

Updates: Saturday's matches were cancelled due to heavy rains. Had two matches on sunday. Won 1 and drew the other. And guess guess who scored...:D :D

And my maid is not coming :( Thought of making her wash all my clothes for the trip next week...abhi sala mujhe hi wash karna padega...which powder to use btw ?

Came early to the office today...8.15...and hardly I see any living soul around..
since our office does not keep dead ones,above statement means that there is no one around except one or two early birds...Am going mad now...

S is coming here on tuesday to see me off :D...waise what see off...she is going back before I leave..so two days total partying and drinking...

Haan I've decided that in US I won't drink more that 4 beers per day...warna it'll be difficult to accomodate that in the grocery bill :D :D. Loads of plans for roaming around in US...but all depends on the workload there..

I have to play in a footer tournament tomorrow...4 matches over the weekend...but i'll miss the semis and final 'cause its on the next weekend...my team will surely miss me :)...i'll upload the snaps once the matches are over...check out the team pic of the last time...and guess where is me :)
