Daal Chawal - The Best

One more gr8 day/evening ends. Work was smooth(very unusual). Cooked dinner. What else, the regular one. Daal came out to be amazing. Too bad we did not have baasmati this time. Kishan's dabba too was here. Talked crap after dinner(very usual). Today the main topic revolved around the song 'Sutta Na Mila'. Amazing song. Slightly censored. Band's called Zeest. Heard they're from Pak. Had to call couple of ppl to get the song but in the end Lord mailed me.
Called up ITV twice tonight. First time Mr. Gary told me 'Press 8, Press 8 you damnfool' and lo, I did. Which song? 'Bunty aur Bubly' the Amitabh one...total waste. Second time my great Motorola fooled me. The response time is so slow that I ended up pressing 1 twice and again another song popped up. This was even worse. Some marathi song I cannot even sing. RG and SP left sometime back. I gave RG his share of 'Double Roti'. He deserved it. According to SP it was his 'Pasine ki kamai'. Don't know why he said this but Mr. RG was very happy to get the full packet. Anyways am gonna crash at any moment. Time to say sweet dreams. Tcha.

As the time goes by

Dunno what made me write this post at quarter past mid-night. Had a good day. Rather a good evening. Met my usual gang(me, garg and mr. pandey). Talked crap as usual. Came back half an hour back and then it hit. Just a week before these two amazing ppl leave. Delhi and Mumbai. And me, Hyd ? I'll miss a lot of things. To start with
1) The Tea
2) Garlic/Ginger
3) The Lift
4) The Tea
5) My lovely Lady(402)
6) French Toast
7) Green Chillis
8) The Tea
9) Two great reliance handsets(not really!!!)
10) Couple of Winds
11) Mr. Pandey's pjs and Mr. Garg's laughter on them
But as somebody said, and rightly said, that life goes on. It will for sure. But some amount of boredom is sure to come. It already has crept in since Gaurav left.
Guess its time for me too. Wanna leave this place but then where? Am going home in august. I'll decide after that. For sure. Delhi seems a good place but then Mumbai chills too. Pune would be the best.
Lets see where the keys take me. Some place good. Some place near home. Some place full of fun.

Dus/Mother of all traffic jams

2 Hrs from Prasads to Madhapur !!! Yeah we were not on foot rather on my beloved wind. God knows where the rains came from but 5.78 cm of water in 4 hrs is a lot. Every other corner, crossing and road was choked. For the beginers, it took 30 mins for us to cross the initial 500 mts(from prasads to the main road). Best part, there was almost 1.5 ft of water in front of Hyderabad Municipal Water Supply Board and the entire water was flowing in the complex.
Talking about Dus, stupid yet funny movie. AB was cool. Worst was Suniel Shetty(you guessed it). Don't know why he cannot act and the name Dan was totally idiotic.

But it rained and rained

It's pouring since last nite(started at around 2.30 AM) and the forecast says that it'll stay like this for 48 hrs. Have never seen rains like this except, ofcourse, Mumbai. I miss mumbai so so much.
We were supposed to go for a trek to
Kondamadugu on Sunday but some morons backed out at the last moment. The reason: 'Its raining too much'. As if we were having a formal party there? I don't know why these idiots agree to come at the first place. Maybe, because of self esteem, since their colleagues are going for trekking so they too should go.
My entire gang(9 of us: Me, RG, TS, RN, AGB, AB, AP, GR, SKC) was ready to go and i really loved what AGB said 'The more it rains the more fun it would be'. Damn, if only the others understood this.
I've learnt a lesson.Again. Never ever try to share anything with a lot of people. I always do this and then end up upside down.
I really want to watch a football match now. May be some music. Yeah coming to music, one song that i've been really craving for the past week, 'Chalte chalte mujhe koi mil gaya tha'. Lovely song from a great movie. Have you heard the line 'Yeh chiraag bujh rahe hai, mere saath saath jalte jalte' ?

Sili Hawa Chhoo Gayi

Superb !!!
This is my 18th month in Hyd and the weather has never been so good.
I can't work at all(not that I work a lot).
The view from the office is really cool especially when it rains.
The best part comes when its raining heavily and I stand near the tilted glass and press my ears on to it.
Amazing sound. People think that i've gone crazy but believe me folks they don't know what it feels like to stand there.
Gosh I never thought i'll like Hyd so much.
Am going for a trek tomorrow. Hope the clouds and rains do not elude me there.
Well none of my posts usually ends without a song so here it is...
Great lyrics by Gulzar. He is the best when it comes to lyrics

"
Jaane kahan kaise shaher leke chala yeh dil mujhe,
Tere bagair din na jala, tere bagair shab na bujhe
"
