I'll be back !!!

Yo people !!! Am back normal again after the emotional last week :D :D.

Saw Being Cyrus on sunday. Good movie. But the best part was the signboards at PVR. Just look at them. Totally idiotic. :D :D

4 day long weekend. Off to mahabaleshwar and matheran.
I hope i'll get strawberries there :)

Oh haan market main ek naya PJ aaya hai. Totally deadly...Sunana hai? To yeh lo suno...
Three cockroaches were going on the road, suddenly one of them startedsinging the song -- AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE. Few mins later, all the three cockroaches died......any idea why?????

Now Scroll down a bit, and then scroll up...this is just to make you people keep scrolling. The direction does not matter....

Answer: COZ the song is HIT......Yayyyyyyy !!!

The ringing of Division Bell has began....

The title might sound familiar. Yeah I borrowed it from a song !!! But why am I writing about it? Lemme start from the scratch....

Then.....
Date: 9.00 PM, 26th Oct, 2003
Place: Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Event: Meeting Girish Rajan(Gary) over dinner at the guest house. Yeah for the first time am taking someone's name here on the post. Believe me, the guy deserves it.

The first impression of him was of an overprotected g6uy. A person who had lived his entire life in Delhi with his parents. No booze/smoke/late night outs and all the other 'bad' stuff I did. We were together in the initial training and then we hit off. Big time. Were flatmates for the next 29 months.

Now.....
Date: 2.00 AM, 25th March, 2006
Place: Hyderabad Airport
Event: Seeing off Gary. He moved back to Delhi. Better job. Good pay. His own house. His car. With his parents. Minus all of us here at Hyd.

We had a great last few days together. If I can say, "Had the time of my life". Total masti. Had to break my "no booze" promise. Just had beer. Was sad throughout the week. Friday was the saddest. Even my boss could make out from my face that something was wrong.

I know we'll meet again in life but then things would change.
.....No more alu/gobhi paranthas on sat/sun
.....No more guitar together(no matter how bad we played)
.....No more movies at Prasadz/PVR/Anand
.....No more sipping chai at the thela next to our house
.....And no more Holi/New Year/Runway 9 together

Sob Sob.....
I tried not to cry in front of Gary. I managed to do that. But as soon as he went to check in and the automatic gates closed I just burst. Nobody expected that. Not even myself. Its been some while I cried. I guess it was bound to happen. I din't even cry when my di got married.

And then it hit me. Everyone would leave. I mean most of the people in my gang are from Delhi or Mumbai or Bangalore. And they would always find a better job and move to their respective home towns. Even my other flatmate is from Amritsar and he too wants to move to Delhi.
Coming weeks would definitely hit me. Hard. Wo kahte hai na ki thoda time lagta hai adjust hone main. I was at home for most of the weekend. Doing nothing.

And I am becoming all senti now. But then for me its not the first such moment for me. A lot of friends have left. IIT wale, Bangalore wale and Hyderabad wale. But then there are some people who leave a real good legend behind them.

Gary is one of them !!!

Are hum bhi hain shahzaade gulfaam !!!

Am all thrilled and ready to kill someone now.
Why? 'Cause I watched "Jo Jeeta Wo Sikandar" yesterday. This movie just fills you up with whole lot of energy and nerves. So things I need/want to do now:
1) Kick my guitar teacher left and right for not teaching me the correct notes of Pahla Nasha. We just discovered that some of the tunes are missing from our notebook.
2) Drop a bucket full of "fresh" cowdung on the cable guy.
3) Put the neighbour's dog into the septic tank for a day :) :)
4) Break the large glass wall in our office. Its some 6 floors high and would be fun to watch it crumbling down to pieces.
5) Want to make the fire extinguishers go on together. Would be great to work when wet ;)

Blore trip was great. Loads of fun as usual. Especially the mid-night buffet where people say I made an absolute joker of my self. I need to see the pics and video for the evidence.

Got my bonus today. Is there something smaller than a peanut ? I hate them. But I love my team. Totally confused what to do? Mood's spoilt for the day.

On the brighter side. Parties for the next 4 days starting from today. Would be totally wild.
Am feeling it already.....
Hickkkkkkk !!!!

Jaane Kyun Hamko Yaad Aye Wo....

First of all, thanks to NST for making me hear this song...lovely...I've been listesing to this song everyday for the past 1 month now and still can't get enough of it. NST - your share in my disc has been been increased to 60 % now :D :D

Been slogging again. Did not even go for my evening jog cum birdwatching :( :(. Am sure the girls in the park would have missed me and TS.

And haan, Happy Holi folks. This was the best holi in hyd. Awesome. My ears and hands are still painted red and blue. But we did not have a holiday :(. So had to wrap the celebrations early and head to office. And no bhaang :( :(. I hate my office for not allowing us to celebrate in the campus. MFSOBs....

Going to Blore and then to mahabaleshwar the coming week. Would be fun !!! I hope its not too hot there.

Was going through my TP Archive today and found this. Btw TP is TimePass...
An elephant was in love with a she-elephant. But she-elephant went and got married to
some other elephant. So our elephant was very depressed One of his friends felt sorry for
him, and took him to a park to cheer him up. In the park, they sat on a see-saw. But...... the see-saw broke. Now, which song would our hero sing?????
See-saw ho ya dil ho, aakhir toot jaata hai!!!!!!!!!

Don't hit me...it was meant to be funny...
Anyways its tea time now....the Bourbons are waiting....

Press 0 to make your choice....Silly machine....

Whats Kooking ?

Yeah thats the name of the place we went on friday night. Awesome sindhi and punjabi food. Had yummy Kadi-Chawal after so so long. Need to go there again sometime soon. And anyone who is in Hyd or is planning to come here have to go to this place.

Went for a long drive yesterday night. To the fort and then to Charminar. The place looks lovely in the night. Especially the old gate and walls surrounding the fort. AP wanted to take all of us to some "bhoot bangala" but then he forgot the way and after roaming in the old city for an hour we came back.

Saw "Maalamaal". Stupid. Senseless.

Had a fight with couple of local guys at eat-street(thats a lovely chaat center near the lake). Tempers were raised but then the girls in our group made those boys cool down....still good....

Went to PS 's place for early breakfast. Yeah 10 AM on sunday morning is damn damn early. But then the yummy yummy alu paranthas did the trick. Had 4 in a row. Now am all sleepy :(

Its Arsenal - Liverpool tonite. Also F1 season has starter. Schumi is in the pole and the second Ferrari is number 2. Though I still am passionate about Raikonnen and Montoya !!!

Coming week is a killer. Some issues to be cleaned up. Hope they finish off smoothly. Going to Blore for the weekend. That would be fun....so until next time
Wrooom wrooom wroom

Coming back to life...

Yeah am back. How was the trip? Not good :(
Very very hectic and full of surprises...
Highlights
1) Lots of goodie goodies food(this had to be no.1)
2) Loads and loads of "rishte" for me :( Yeah they are bent on getting me married by this year end :((
3) Dad and Mom made me and di run away from home 'cause some stupid fella was coming with his daughter. This was the funniest. Me without a shirt driving in udaipur and di trying to hide behind me !!!
4) Me and my aunt(bhua) looking for pretty pretty girls in one of the marriages. I spotted few of them and bhua told me that by june end she'll give me all their names and address :) :)
5) Lots of driving around. Udaipur is simply breathtaking in the evenings and nights.
6) No drinks in udaipur for the first time. Am still on my 3 month "no booze" promise. Only 10 more weeks to go baby...
7) Mom liked the pearl set I gave her. And the TH watch was cool too(sorry Boo but I got this watch before we made our plans to rob the store)

In the end I was so tired that I wanted to come back to hyd. I even pre-poned my trip by a day so that I could come hyd on a saturday and just laze around throughout the weekend.

The days ahead are full of work and only work. But then important in some sense. And yeah Chelsea-Barcelona round 2 is coming on tuesday night. Pls pls watch it even if you don't know what football is. It'll be a thriller.
