Weekends are fun...a full week is even better!!!
What a week it was. Total fun.
In one word "Amazing"
In one line "Life never was so so interesting after IIT"
Went to Hampi first. Wow. What a place. For ppl who love travelling its a place that should be in top 10. Magnificient ruins. The place makes you want to go back in time and be at the place when all this was built and was still intact. Lovely temples. Huge temples. This place can be easily visited for a second time. And the fun would be highly amplified if you choose to travel on a bicycle. I guess 2 days are a little too less for this place. You need to spend atleast 4-5 days and see each and every corner of this ancient city.
Next came Bangalore. We wanted to go to pondichery but then it was raining like hell. So we though of staying there and visit couple of places nearby. Nandi Hills. Heaven. Its like you've come to a hill station. Great views especially sunrise and sunset. And its fucking cold out there. Got totally drenched while coming back and that was an adventure too. Next it was "Wonder La". Its boasted to be India's biggest amusement park and by joe...it is huge. Nerve recking rides and a very very cool wave maker. This place has a giant wheel on top of a tower that is 14 stories high. And the worst part is that you can see right through the cage floor. The view beneath my legs made me really sick. Its like you are flying. Literally. I surely put up the pic once I get it.
And then went to some place(Lemon Grass) and got totally sloshed. I don't remember much but ppl say I drove back all by myself. Yeah am still in single piece.
And yes, i took the bike upto 112 km/hr. No I wasn't drunk that time. Just a bit of over excitement.
2 more weeks in office and Udaipur comes next. Man am really waiting for this trip.
Wrrroooom Wrrrrooooommmm

Wow! Seems like you ahd one helluva great time. And interesting places you visited. Would wanna visit them too cos it sounded like the kind of places i would be interested in visitng.
Amd how come you are travelling so much? For work or for pleasure??
Medha yeah mark these places in ur travel book. Must go stuff.
And am travelling just for pleasure...rather am travelling away from work...though you can combine them both...I guess I've already lost my mind so early this week :( :((
i need a break again...
Hmm, just for pleasure eh? So you can work for 2 weeks and then travel for 2 weeks? Wow, what kinda job are you into man?! Pass some info to me too.. Your job sounds like fun! =D

Medha No ma'am. I worked for 4 months and then earned the last week off. Another week off during diwali and am again grounded at work for the next 3-4 months.
And you would not want to come into a job am in. Believe me girl, oil and gas engineering is much much better. Stick to it. :)
OK now im even more curious about your job!! So what is it??? Is it THAT bad, that Oil and gas is considered better?
Medha No the job is pretty cool. Just that its too much luxurious. No physical work. Just type and think and then type more. And since i've stopped playing football(due to rains and bad knee) the work has become too too monotonous. Core engineering work is what fascinates me. But then I have friends there too and they do envy my job. AGB wud surely agree with me. In the end 'the grass on the other side is always green and its always smells good'
Am very jealous now. Wonder when I get to have so much fun...
That fantasy park opened??? Hmmm might check it out this time.
Hmm, sounds like fun! You are frm IIT? Which one? Powaii? Anyways, you watch out! You said i bark??? Ha! You are SO NOT funny! Idiot!
Anyways i have replied to ur comment on my blog!
Shradha Its just giving up on some of ur work and taking out time to enjoy. Believe me time won't come back and work, well, it'll always keep coming. Golden rule: don't ever go to office on weekends. U'll automatically find time for njoyment.
Medha I wish I was canine. Man they are so so lucky...They have someone to take care of them always and the best part is that they don't have to worry about the number of pups they'll have. Just keep doing "it" and someone will take care of the pups too.
Yeps am from IIT Powai.
Bow wow....
Yeah you are one anyway! Hence who would know the advantages of being one better than you ?! :p
Update ur blog yaaaaaar!! :p
Hampi seems like a lovely place -shud plan a trip sometime ....
