What?? No ice.....Fuck Off !!!
Have been listening to "Aazmaale Aazmaale" from Taxi No. 9211 since morning. Awesome song. Superb Music. Great lyrics.
Trip to pune/mahabaleshwar(mbw) was great. Went to Panshet Dam and Singhgad Fort the first day on bikes. Pretty cool places. Singhgad Fort is awesome. Though the road leading up there is in shambles. We were up at the fort till 8. And then the worst happened. Both the bikes got punctured. Don't ask how we managed to come back down and till pune but it was sharp 12 'o clock midnight when we reached home.
Next day hired a car and drove off to mbw. Amazing drive people. And great sunset views. And it was damn cold at the top. Went for a walk in the market and all I could see was strawberries, mulberries and gooseberries. Had fresh strawberries in chilled cream. Sluurrrppp. Believe me folks the place is heaven for foodies like me. One can even get great gujju food.
The only sour part of the evening was the fight we had with one of the hotel waiters. He served us beer and smirnoff but wasn't willing to give us ice. And so the battle began. Eventually we left the place(without paying the bill for alcohol) and went to another place where there was ice :) :)
Next day was spent in going to various view points and mountain tops. Arthurs seat is a must for everyone. Really cool and windy. Went to the Table Top at panchgani. The locals boast it to be the second largest continous flat piece of land on a mountain in Asia. Behind, of course, after Tibet. The sheer size of the table top shook me. The best part was watching people play football on the top :) :)
Came back to pune by 9 in the evening and were in a club/farmhouse by 10.30. Great starters. Has some 4 large shots and then had neat bacardi in the car while roaming around pune till 4.00 in the morning. Totally sloshed out !!!
A great trip in the end that started with playing saanp-sidhi(snakes and ladders) in the train. I lost. The bloody snake at 31 bit me some 3-4 times in a single game. I hate that snake :(
This week seems strange. I just can't get time to sleep. Saw "Hostage" yesterday. Idiotic movie.
And yes, Barcelona won. "God" again scored. Yaayyyyyyy !!! Waiting for the Barca-Milan semis. And hopefully Arsenal-Barca finals :) :)

reminds me of my MBW trip where i totally went bonkers on vada-pav (now i really miss indian food!!)
i still hate u for all thoses strawberries u had....alone...
